NS 5231 and NS 5192 |
Description: |
There arent a lot of places on the NS system where you can find something like this anymore. East Wayne happens to be one of them for now. High hoods are a common sight around New Haven, but two of them together is quite a rarity. |

Both of them were oil spillers. I couldnt get them to hold still long enough for me to get a shot where they were blowing their top off without a little motion blur. I thought this was pretty moody though and decided to keep it. |

NS 5231 |
Description: |
A small break in the clouds allows NS DN22 to be captured in full sunlight as they begin their afternoon of switching. A pair of ex-SOU GP38-2s are in charge today; one being a high hood and the other being a chopped nose. |
