CNUR 20 and MAW 4 |
Description: |
I noticed that the Spartain unit was here and hiding behind it was MAW 4 still in its former Santa Fe paint. The MAW units must have been moved down here also when PREX bought the MAW line. I love the CNUR railroad because they have a whole bunch of funky units from lots of railroads. |

MAW 4 with a new paint job. |
Description: |
MAW 4 sits in the CNUR yard at Connersville a little bit farther south than MAW 16. Last time I saw this unit was in March but then the Santa Fe letters were not scratched out but CNUR must have been doing some work on this unit because it is obvious it has been repainted not too long ago. Still Santa Fe colors but not words. |

MAW 4 |
Description: |
Took this shot with permisson by a matinence worker at the yard. MAW 4 is being worked at in the shops currently. I also learned CNUR 5 and WBCR 6 have been moved to New Castle to work the only operable part of the line as of now. WBCR 12 has been sold and sent out west. Not totally sure where it went though. |

This was a shot we had considered attempting on the way up but decided it would look too weird with the engines butts and not the nose, so we deiced to go for the going away shot. The train passes over this small manmade ditch north of Mount Auburn. |

MAW 4 |
Description: |
On our way north I was told that MAW 4 and CNUR 20 were hanging out at Beesons after delivering a windmill nacelle train to the airport earlier in the day. I decided to try an exposure with MAW 4 since there would be no headlights on. I have to say I am happy with the result. Not exactly what we were expecting to get throughout the day but an enjoyable day nonetheless! |
