Just our luck! The Ferrosur units were parked behind all the engines on the fuel racks so they were inaccessible for photo taking but then as we drove towad the east side of the yard we noticed the units were gone and then we looked ahead and saw them moving! These engines would be assigned to NS 197. Now what I dont get is that NS took the engines north and now they are just taking them back south again. I think that is a little weird but I dont really care because I have never seen Ferrosur units before and the railraod is located in central to southern Mexico so I am pretty happy seeing these brand new units. |

NS 21A heads west after a crew change as NS 197 waits for 21A on the snake track at New Haven. This was our last picture taken at New Haven. What a great day! We have now caught 4 brand new engines bound for southern Mexico! I hope to see more soon! Just another fantastic day at East Wayne yard. |
