After 2 stinking years I have finally seen this unit again! NS 1065 and NS 1031 trail second and third on NS 64K eastbound through Swanton! Even though we knew the S&A unit was coming, we are still happy! And even better, I finally got a nice photo of it!!!!! Yes!!!!! Very great catch for my dad and I!! |

| Description: |
The Savannah and Atlanta heritage unit trails 2nd on NS 265. There was very heavy maintenance work ahead at Laporte, and this train ended up stopping, pinning us from our vehicle which was on the other side. Thanks to the helpful aid of a local lady who lived in Hudson Lake, she offered to take us over to the other side. We could not thank her enough for her generosity! |
