| The OCS passed the Griffith Camera, but what surprised us is the train ended up continuing north onto the J up to Kirk Yard, where apparently they were going to tour before continuing east. So, we had even more time to kill. So, we went up to CSX Bremen. After an hour with nothing on CSX, we grew impatient and went up to the Chicago Line in South Bend. We decided to hang out at CP 435 where a pair of trilight signals still guard westbound movements on NS. Both Amtrak trains were in the picture when we arrived, and AMTK 40, the westbound Floridian, was our first train when we arrived. |
