The locomotive was slated to lead the first Indiana Rail Experience trips of the year out of Angola that weekend. We decided to wait and see what would happen once the westbound got into the yard. Sure enough, when it cleared up, the crew on NKP 765 began to shove east out of the yard. John had never seen 765 in person before, and the excitement on his face was enough to make my day. We moved into Hudson and grabbed the locomotive slowly shoving east by the "Welcome to Hudson" sign. |
