Next thing I know those 3 UPs are now 7 UP units. Those three backed into the shops and added another line of UP units. And like I said in my earlier photos, I cant quite tell all the numbers to the engines on the shop and if anyone wants to identify one or two for me that would be appreciated. |

| Description: |
With no IC power on the local, we decided to head back to the UP/CSX and hang around the Joint Line until the Big Boy showed. UPs LSB54 local was working Watseka when we were in Gilman, so we decided to head back there to grab it. However, before we got into town, they were ready to continue north to Saint Anne. They blasted north while we struggled to stay out ahead of them. We finally were able to get out ahead of them around Papineau, and we shot them across a field just south of Saint Anne. I actually had shot the local here last year with very similar power. But, whats wrong with doing the same thing twice? |

| Description: |
The Overland Route takes a short dip into Colorado for about 20 miles west of Ogallala. So, in order to continue following the railroad, we went down into Colorado as well. The first town on the railroad once you enter Colorado is Julesburg, CO, a small and quaint town. The railroad had really quieted up after we got out of Ogallala, but we stopped at the Sinclar station to fill up with gas, and some yellow caught my eye. The engine being used for the local was tied down at the grain elevator, so I went to take some shots. |
