Since this was thc first time we had ever railfanned in this region, we tended to get lost quite a bit. We stumbled across Gibson Yard by accident, and we also stumbled across this by accident. S“tting on a side track at CP 100, the beginning of NSs Kankakee Line, there was an IHB switcher awaiting to come onto the main line by the Arcelor Mittal Plant outside of Whiting. |
