Description:  Next we drove down a road that looks more like a cattle path. With the rain it was extremely muddy and wet but we managed to get through. Was interesting to see all the water and mud fly up driving down the road at nealy 50 MPH. Sadly though right before we were getting ready to turn this eastbound spine car train pinned us just outside of Ancona.

Description:  I noticed I had a grain train facing south that was tied down south of East Dubuque, so I moved south. I soon discovered it had a H1 leader. But unfortunately it wasnt close enough to the road to get a solid photo of it. I would just have to wait for it to get recrewed. I did, however, have another northbound coming, which I stuck around for. H-GALMIN1-31 slowly works north as the rain continues to fall.

Description:  The three railroad duo that i saw a few days later sits northbound on the south side of the Bluffton holdout signal outside of Poneto. I am very glad that I have another chance to see the Vancouver Olympics unit! The only thing that would make it better is if it was leading and if it still had all the normal paint on it. But oh well! Still a great catch!

Description:  It took a bit of waiting, but finally I got my first moving train in CSX I172 with a trio of BNSF leaders. CSX is also undergoing a symbol change. Intermodals will now be under the letter "I" instead of "Q", Manifests under "M" instead of "Q", locals under "L" instead of "J, H, M, etc..." and so forth. Not sure what this is all about, but its the railroad. They like to do confusing things! The intermodal and local symbols have already changed, whereas the manifest and bulk train symbols are supposed to go under their changes by the end of the month.

Description:  After B157, it was onto Wellsboro/Union Mills. On arrival, both I172 and I157 were about to make a near perfect meet just west of the diamond. Thankfully, we were able to get that perfect meet without either train blocking out one another. I172 got to the crossing at West street mere seconds before I157 did.
