Tuesdays and Fridays the RJ Corman interchanges with the CSX at Ansonia and while I was shooting the local on CSX, I could hear a horn in the distance signifying they were on their way up fron Greenville. Sure enough, I found them a few miles south of Ansonia and made it to the decrepit distant signal with CSX for my sole shot. Recently, RJC moved a "new" Geep to the property to replace the GP20 that had been on this operation for years due to it blowing out its guts. While it is sad that the GP20 is gone, Ill take this GP38-2, especially since it faces north. Both the GP16 and 20 that worked this job together faced south. |

I did begin hearing crackles over the RJC frequency though, so I knew something must be happening in Celina today. Sure enough, as I got into town, I found WL30 heading east with both engines bracketing two box cars. I set up my first shot by the bracket signal at Villa Nova. |
