Another shot that I had never tried before was getting an eastbound passing the grain elevator from the Ohio 66 overpass in Houston. CSX I008 was coming east which would be the perfect opportunity to give that shot a try. In the summer months the leaves on the trees block out any opportunities to try this shot out, but it is perfectly possible in the Winter, and I would say it did work out well. |

As M573 continued to roll south, M277 came up alongside it on the other main. This spot here where all the construction equipment is at was a well known spot for railfans to document inbound trains with the skyline. However, it appears those days might be over. We arent sure what is going in this spot yet, but hopefully it wont be anything that will be too obstructing. |

After M310 the Indy Line died down, but with the help of some friends back in Indiana we did know we had another eastbound coming our direction, which I wanted to shoot on the Big 4 concrete bridge that spans the Miami River in Sidney. Due to there being very few grade crossings on both the Indy Line and the Toledo Sub near where the two cross, we were stabbed by a southbound on the Toledo Sub while waiting, and we made chase down to Kirkwood where we got some throw away shots of CSX M561 by the intermediate signal there. |
