Much to our surprise, after NS 60P we looked at ATCS and noticed an eastbound CFE train lined up across the CN at Valparaiso. We decided to head up to the ex-PRR and go sit at Plymouth, as the older PLs are being replaced with much newer Mead Electronic PL heads. We got there, and waited, and waited, and waited, and finally after about 2 hours we gave up and decided to go try to find it. We made a quick stop in Hamlet, however, to grab shots of the Starke County elevator switcher there. |
