We went to get supper at Culvers and I saw that L-CHI103 was getting ready to blast out of the yard north on the Barstow Sub. We hurried to Henderson thinking we would not have much time. We ended up waiting an hour for the train to double up, and even gave up at one point, but after we gave up the train had been lined and we went back. Since it was a local, we assumed it would have some nice standard cab power on the front. Big CN GEs rolled through Henderson at track speed though. Definitely would not have waited on it that long if I would have known this was the power, but regardless. It was a good way to end the day. Show day tomorrow! |
