NS was so quiet almost the entire afternoon, and I was shocked that we saw as few trains as we did between Butler and Toledo. However, there was a 29P with a Fakebonnet/WFRX SD70MAC duo that was coming that we were counting on seeing. Unfortunately for us, I was unaware that they would work the Mega, so with there being no traffic around at all, we decided to zip around Toledo and forgo 29P (which was a mistake because as soon as we got to the other side of town they were released and continued west) as we were still over 2 hours behind. Westbound traffic picked up on the east side of Toledo, however, and we were just able to make it down to the Lemoyne Road crossing in Northwood to grab NS 13N slowly coming into the Toledo Metra for a crew change. |
