Title:
NS 4236 and NS 7638
Description:
As soon as we left Farmland, we could hear the sounds of another westbound approaching, which was CSX I131. The dispatch called them up and told them he needed to get I008 east through Anderson before anything else, so he was going to hold up I007 ahead of them, which would mean they would be stopping at Parker City for a bit. That ended up giving us some time so we went back into Muncie to catch NS L82 yarding. This is the first time both TJ and I have caught this local with two units on the front of this local. The train crosses the 3rd of 3 bridges NS has over the White River in Muncie.

Title:
NS 7638
Description:
While waiting on CSX M364, NS L80 got track out of Muncie to head east toward Redkey and then eventually Dunkirk. While I was hoping to be able to get the train around Albany, but it was no such luck, as when we followed the tracks east we found the train hopping onto the branch to Dunkirk. We caught up with the train at CR 1000W on the way to Dunkirk. The leader on today's L80 happened to be the 2nd unit that was on NS L82 this morning. Some Road Closed cones were up by the tracks, but eh crossing itself was clearly not closed. So I repositioned some things to make an interesting shot. Gotta do what you gotta do.
