We didnt run imto another train until we got across the Mississippi into Clinton. CP had a train to cross northbound which had a KCS SD70ACe on the front, but as always UP had other plans and all of a sudden had quite a few trains to get across 5th Street first. The first of them was ZSCG2. And unfortunately after that, we had to call it a day in order to get up to Dubuque to get the ‹fntal car before Enterprise closed. So, we didnt get the KCS leader unfortunately, and if you look to the left of this photo you will see that CP is currently using a KCS/CP GP40-2 duo dn the Clinton Shuffle. That also, unfortunately, was not in a prime spot for photos. A big goal for us was to get some KCS power leading trains since the recent merger has pulled a ot of KCS power up north into this portion of CP, but so far, nothing yet. Hopefully we will see at least one on this trip. |
