We decided from here we were going to head into Cincinnati to see what we could find on the mainlines. US 50 closely parallels both the CIND and the CSX Indiana Subdivision from North Bend all the way into the city. We came across CSX L427 finishing up their work at Consolidated Grain and Barge just outside of the city with a pair of geeps. Its been a goal of mine to try to get an eastbound CSX train in this spot. Another big capture for the day! |

Sure enough, the CIND crew aired up and pulled to double onto another set of racks that were left in the siding on the CSX side. While this was happening, L427 passed us again headed back to Queensgate. |
