Description:  NS 8099 sits in the fuel racks in East Wayne yard at New Haven. This unit has been working the Elkhart-Fort Wayne local for quite some time now.

Description:  This was basically our real reason of coming up here. NS 8099 switches East Wayne ard in New Haven and should be on a future NS 197. The unit was stationed back behind the fuel racks where no one could get photos but then exactly what we wished for happened and the engine was assigned to NS 197 with 2 other NS units! This is my second time seeing this unit up at East Wayne but I am glad I got better photos this time!!!

Description:  The crew ended up doing something Ive never seen before then. The 2nd conductor went back to the 3rd unit and both the engineer in the lead unit and conductor in the 3rd unit started having a horn battle. Pretty cool!
