A dreary, old morning to start the longest day of the year and DAy 2 of the Galesburg Trip. We got up fairly early and ate breakfast at the hotel before heading out to the IC mainline to New Orleans to catch a couple CN trains. We got knto Bradley, IL, a suburb of Kankakee and to our surpise when we crossed the tracks there was a slow moving manifest heading south. The reason it was moving so slow was due to a 10 MPH speed restriction just behind us. Of course, raindrops had to alter this shot bu there isnt much you can do when it is raining as hard as it was there! |
