A day to the IC mainline was calling my name. Despite it being mostly flat with not a lot of trees along it, I decided to take one of my Fall Foliage Vacation Days from work to head out there. I started my day in Gilman. And to my surprise, the trees were actually quite nice. The City of New Orleans started my day with a sole P42DC on the front. These trains have lately been testing the new long distance charger locomotives, so seeing a P42 up front was really nice. |
